Where possible, estimates should clearly identify what is expected to be included — such as hospital charges, physician or surgeon fees, procedures, room category and routine investigations — and what may not be included, such as additional investigations, unexpected procedures, complications, extended stays, medications after discharge, rehabilitation, travel or accommodation.
Because individual medical needs differ, an estimate should not be presented as a guaranteed final price. The healthcare provider confirms the treatment plan and final financial terms directly with you.
